Nocino

Real Nocino. Rustic and unfiltered.

 

Over the last few months we’ve been working on a custom project with the brilliant team at Michelin starred Luca. The idea was to make not one but two modern digestivi – a Limoncello and a Nocino. Both are a nod to tradition but refreshingly modern. Ingredient led, nuanced and lower sugar. Rustic and unfiltered, as they should be.

 

 

In July we received some stunning green walnuts (unripe walnuts before the shells have formed) from Potash Farm in Kent, preparing and macerating them in spirit for over 3 months. This formed the base for this rich, spiced and fragrant Nocino, which we later blended with a subtle infusion of nutmeg, cacao, coffee, vanilla, fig leaf and date.

 

 

Big, bold and delicious; perfect as an after dinner sipper or served alongside Christmas pudding or minced pies.

 

 

A stunning treat for Christmas to share with friends and family and our last limited edition of the year.
